Palladium Integration: Connect Palladium to Your Online Store

Your products, prices and stock already live in Palladium. Your website needs the same information, so someone types it in again, usually a few days late, and then retypes every web order back into Palladium.

We connect Palladium to your WooCommerce store, so everything is captured once and shows up everywhere.

The Problem

Sound Familiar?

These are the problems a Palladium integration solves:

  • Every new product is captured in Palladium, then typed into the website again
  • The website shows stock you sold yesterday
  • Trade customers see retail prices, because the website cannot read their price list
  • Web orders are retyped into Palladium as sales orders
  • A promotion ends in Palladium but keeps running online

One missing tax code can stop a whole sync. Most Palladium integration problems are data problems: SKUs with spaces, price lists that treat VAT differently from the shop, or products nobody ticked for the web. We check all of this before the first live sync.

How It Works

What a Palladium Integration Actually Does

Products flow out to the website, orders flow back to Palladium. Nobody retypes either.

1

Ticked in Palladium

Products you want online are ticked for the webstore, with their category, images and price lists

2

Synced to Your Store

Products, prices and stock arrive in WooCommerce on a schedule, matched by SKU

3

Customer Orders Online

Trade customers who sign in see their own prices and can buy on account

4

Order Lands in Palladium

The web order and any new customer arrive in Palladium as a sales order

What We Build

Everything a Palladium Webstore Needs

Product and Category Sync

Products ticked for the web in Palladium arrive with their categories, images, descriptions, and parent and child products for sizes and variants.

Customer Price Lists

The public sees your retail prices. A trade customer who signs in sees their own price list, and dated promotions come across from Palladium too.

Stock Levels

Stock updates on the website through the day, so customers are not ordering what you sold this morning.

Orders Back to Palladium

Paid and on-account web orders arrive in Palladium as sales orders, and new customers are created there for you.

Clean Data Before Go-Live

We match SKUs, tidy categories and check tax codes and price lists, so the first sync does not stall on bad data.

Reliable Scheduling

Syncs run on a server schedule, not the WordPress scheduler, which only runs when someone visits the site. A manual sync is there as a backup.

Palladium introduced us to Key Electric in 2023. We built its online shop and connected it to Palladium.

The brief

What Key Electric Needed

  • A large trade catalogue of cable, solar, back-up power, lighting and switchgear, kept in Palladium
  • No second copy of every product and price to maintain by hand
  • Categories and brands that electricians and contractors can browse quickly
  • Stock on the website that keeps up with Palladium

Questions

Palladium Integration FAQs

Can Palladium connect to a WooCommerce store?

Yes. Palladium has its own webstore plug-in for WooCommerce. Palladium licenses and configures the plug-in; we build or update the store, prepare the product data and set up the syncs. We have worked with Palladium businesses since the plug-in was released.

What syncs between Palladium and the website?

Products ticked for the web, with categories, images, descriptions and parent and child products. Price lists, promotions, tax codes, credit limits and stock levels where you want them. In the other direction, new customers and web orders go to Palladium as sales orders.

Can trade customers see their own prices online?

Yes. Visitors see your retail price list. When a trade customer signs in, the shop shows their own price list, and orders can go through on account.

How often does the website update from Palladium?

On a schedule that suits you, from nightly to several times a day. We run syncs from the server rather than the WordPress scheduler, which only runs when someone visits the site. You can also run a sync by hand.

What usually goes wrong with a Palladium integration?

Mostly data. SKUs with spaces in them, price lists that treat VAT differently from the shop, a missing tax code that stops a whole sync, expired price lists, and products nobody ticked for the web. Hosting limits can also cut long syncs short. We check for all of these before the first live sync.

What does a Palladium integration cost?

It depends mostly on the store and the state of your product data. Palladium licenses its webstore plug-in separately. Book a free 15-minute call and we will tell you what yours would involve.
