An event microsite for Discovery, built in weeks

We built the front end of a Discovery event microsite for The Maze Creative Studio: speakers by year, a countdown and a gallery, ready for them to host.

The brief

The Maze Creative Studio designed an event microsite for Discovery and needed a developer to bring it to life. It had to look exactly like the designs and work on every screen. They wanted it as files they could host themselves.

Built for The Maze Creative Studio.

What we did

  • Speakers grouped by year, with a year selector and photo hover effects
  • A countdown timer to the event
  • Smooth scrolling and a full responsive build for phones and tablets
  • An Executive Summary download and a 12-image gallery
  • A clean handover package for The Maze to host

The result

We handed The Maze a finished, ready-to-host microsite in December 2019, matching their designs on every screen.
