Refreshing Eswatini's national newspaper online

Working with the newspaper's developer, we restyled, upgraded and rebuilt the home page of the Times of Eswatini website.

The brief

The Times of Eswatini is the country's national newspaper. Their developer needed more WordPress help than he had in-house. The site was large, about 6 GB, and full of daily news.

What we did

Matched category colours and tidied spacing across the site
Copied the whole site to a safe staging server to work on
Upgraded WordPress and the theme
Rebuilt the home page layout
Prepared the domain move and quoted a payment gateway

The result

We did the work between September 2020 and February 2021, alongside the paper's own developer and project manager.
