The brief

The club runs Wednesday and Sunday hikes, away weekends and camps for about 400 members. It needed a modern site that works well on phones, shows the hike programme, takes bookings and enquiries, and gives members their documents and GPX routes.

What we did

  • A public site with the hike programme, calendar, hike pages with booking forms, locations, routes, FAQs, gallery, and guides for newcomers and safety
  • A members area with sign-in, club documents and GPX downloads
  • An admin area for hikes, hike bookings, enquiries with status tracking, member approvals, documents, FAQs, gallery, locations, routes and feedback
  • A content handover document so the committee could check and supply the copy
  • A Firebase back end with sign-in, database, cloud functions, file storage and hosting

The result

Version 1.0 was released on 5 August 2026 and version 1.1 on 12 August, ready for the move from the club’s old Wix site.
